Caitlin Harper

Former Senior Associate Director of Admission with 10+ years of admissions experience

Caitlin Harper is proud of and grateful for the life-changing experience she had at a liberal arts and sciences college. She loved her alma mater, Lewis & Clark College, so much that she decided not to leave after graduation, spending the next ten years working her way up to Senior Associate Director of Admission. She went on to spend two years as the Director of Admission Marketing and Events at Willamette University before realizing that she wanted to bring her work and impact back down to the individual level and joined the Collegewise team as a college counselor.

Ian Parker Bubble Headshot

Ian Parker

Former Master Tutor at The Princeton Review with 5+ years of counseling experience

Throughout his career as an educator and tutor, Ian has found that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to college. As a Master Tutor at The Princeton Review and instructor with the Fullerton and Long Beach school districts, he has discussed with families the value of conducting comprehensive analysis and collecting data to assess each student’s needs, goals, and interests when making academic decisions. While this sounds very thorough (it makes sense to note here that his major was in economics, his minor in philosophy), Ian possesses just the right balance of genuine drive to emotionally support students and families while helping them come to logical decisions regarding their best-fit school. When he’s not working with students, Ian keeps up with the world of J.R.R. Tolkien, hikes with his dog, and can offer astute opinions on what makes a good Philly cheesesteak.
