The Roadmap to College Admissions Success for Boston Area Families

Join us on Monday, February 9 at 7:00 PM to learn how parents can help their teen build a strong overall application, plus the additional strategies needed for highly selective colleges.

This is a free in-person event! Ideal for families with teens in grades 7-11.

For many families, college admissions have never felt more competitive or more confusing.

And for Boston-area families, the pressure is even greater as students compete locally and nationally for a limited number of spots at competitive colleges.

That’s why Collegewise is hosting an exclusive, in-person event designed specifically for families who want clear guidance, smart strategy, and a confident plan for the years ahead. Our team will share how your student can succeed and enjoy the process.

With decades of combined experience helping students gain admission to colleges around the country, our expert counselors will pull back the curtain on how admissions really works today, and what your family should be doing now to stay ahead.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Why there’s no single formula for admission to competitive colleges, and the strategic choices that do meaningfully improve a student’s chances
  • What today’s admissions trends mean for Boston students, including how regional competition and national applicant pools affect outcomes
  • How to build a thoughtful, balanced college list with true reach, target, and likely schools (beyond name recognition and rankings)
  • What admissions officers actually value right now, and how students can make a genuine, lasting impression through their applications
