Ida brings international experience and a passion for student storytelling to her work as a college counselor. A graduate of the University of Cambridge and the University of Sussex, she has guided students to selective institutions including USC, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, and Carnegie Mellon. With a background that spans teaching, essay coaching, and student support across multiple countries, she is fluent in Finnish and Swedish and well-versed in international curricula like the IB, A-Levels, and the French Lycée system. Known for her compassionate and individualized style, Ida helps students move from self-doubt to self-assurance while discovering the stories that make their applications shine.

Allison Lopour

Master Collegewise Counselor & Chief People Officer

Allison has personally guided more than 500 students through the college search and application process, helping each one find the right-fit colleges and tell their stories with clarity and confidence. She also serves as Collegewise’s Chief People Officer and is a Collegewise Master Counselor, where she trains and mentors new counselors across the organization. Her expertise is grounded not only in years of counseling experience, but also in firsthand admissions knowledge. A graduate of the University of Redlands, previously served as an admissions officer at Redlands, personally reviewing more than 1,000 college applications.
