Ian Parker
Ian Parker
Former Master Tutor at the Princeton Review

 Ian Parker is a Collegewise counselor and co-lead of the organization’s counselor training program, where he helps define and teach the advising standards used across the team. A former teacher and Master Tutor at The Princeton Review, Ian brings a strong background in academic coaching and student development to his work with families. His students have been accepted to more than 150 colleges and universities, including Brown, Penn, Northwestern, USC, Carnegie Mellon, the University of Michigan, UT Austin, and every University of California campus. He has also helped create Collegewise resources on extracurricular activities and the Common App and frequently presents on topics such as UC admissions and academic success. 

Kate Coffman
Kate Coffman
Former Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid at Franklin College

 Kate Coffman has spent her entire professional career in higher education, both evaluating students as an admissions officer and guiding them as a college counselor. Before joining Collegewise, she served as Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid at Franklin College and held admissions roles at Butler University, Indiana University, and the Kelley School of Business MBA Program. Her students have been accepted to more than 100 colleges, including Yale, Cornell, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Notre Dame, the University of Virginia, Tufts, and Boston College. As a Collegewise Counseling Team Lead, Kate also oversees a team of counselors and helps ensure families receive thoughtful, personalized guidance throughout the admissions process.
