Astrid Dorantes started off her career in admissions at Soka University. She worked her way up to Assistant Director of Admission, where she was engaged in everything from managing budgets and college fairs to coordinating travel to 200 high schools a year.  Astrid loves crafting, stargazing (especially at the peak of the Perseid meteor shower), and collects postcards from all the places she (and her students) have visited. Feel free to greet her in any language that feels right—she speaks Spanish and Japanese, and can greet folks in 10 different languages.

Fayelah Johnson graduated from UC Irvine with her B.A. in Psychology. Before joining Collegewise, Fayelah developed and coordinated college-access programs at community-based organizations.
