Gretchen has guided students to acceptances at more than 175 colleges, including Duke, Caltech, Pomona, UNC-Chapel Hill, and all the UC schools. After graduating from Syracuse University, she began her career as an admissions officer at Dickinson College before becoming a college counselor at independent schools. Known for her contagious enthusiasm and practical guidance, Gretchen helps students and families navigate the college search with confidence, focusing on fit, interests, and personality. She particularly enjoys working with students who are undecided about their future plans and has a knack for connecting with even the shyest teens. A North Carolina resident, Gretchen loves volunteering at her kids’ school, spinning on her Peloton, and playing with her Corgi.
