Former Harvard Admissions Officer
Benito Nishizawa Rodríguez brings more than 17 years of experience as a college advisor. As a graduate and former Harvard admissions officer, Benito has experienced both sides of the admissions table. Throughout his career, he has guided students in the admissions process for various prestigious educational institutions, including Ivy League schools and Liberal Arts colleges, as well as private and public universities. His expertise has led to successful admissions for students at renowned institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, UC Berkeley, University of Chicago, and other top-ranked colleges in the United States.
Benito has reviewed thousands of applications over the years and is committed to confidentiality, empathy, empowerment, accountability, and service with his students. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has an intermediate-level understanding of Japanese and Korean. His father is from northern Mexico, and his mother is from Japan, which has given him a deep appreciation for diverse opinions and cultural customs. His upbringing has also helped him learn to work with people from various backgrounds; he always aims to treat people with courtesy, dignity, care, and respect.
