Kaila Brown
Former Vanderbilt Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions & Collegewise Counselor
Kaila has seven years of college admissions experience on both sides of the desk—as an admissions officer and school counselor. She earned a master’s in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania, then served five years as Assistant Director of Admissions at Vanderbilt University. She later became Associate Director of College Counseling at Marist School, guiding over 100 students annually through selective colleges, Division 1 athletics, engineering programs, and the arts. She also spent two years in the business world as a Customer Success Manager for a college admissions guidance software company.
Michael Cohen
Director of Instruction & Former Instructor, Temple University
Michael Cohen instructed at Temple University in PA, where he earned his master's degree and continues his doctoral studies in Religion, despite the fact that life in Philly can sometimes be tough for this New York Mets and Giants fan. At the undergraduate level, he studied History and Philosophy at the University of Delaware. Michael has seen hundreds of students pass through his classrooms and has tutored over 500 hours with private students.
