 Kim Haselhoff brings deep expertise in education, school choice, and college counseling to the college search process. A former Executive Director of Parents Education League, postdoctoral researcher at UCLA’s Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies, and graduate of the UCLA College Counseling Certification Program, Kim helps families make thoughtful, informed decisions in a landscape that can often feel overwhelming. Known for helping students clarify their values, identify their strengths, and find schools where they can thrive, Kim is deeply versed in the UC system and has guided students toward colleges including Dartmouth, Yale, Harvey Mudd, Georgetown, NYU, Northeastern, Purdue, and the University of Washington. Her calm, student-centered approach helps families move beyond rankings and name recognition to build college lists rooted in fit, purpose, and possibility.

Kimberly Malin
College Counselor

 Kimberly Malin brings a powerful blend of psychology, law, advocacy, and college counseling experience to her work with students and families. A University of Michigan psychology graduate and USC-trained attorney, Kim is known for her hands-on, detail-oriented approach that helps students take ownership of the college search and application process. She works with students across a wide range of interests, from aspiring engineers and business students to artists, humanities scholars, and undecided students still exploring their path. Her students have gone on to attend colleges including Princeton, all University of California campuses, Wesleyan, Colby, RIT, Colorado School of Mines, the University of Michigan, Florida State, NYU, Boston University, and Cornish College of the Arts.
