Scott Steinberg

Former Director of Admission at Bates College and Collegewise Counselor

Scott earned his bachelor's in Mathematics and Music from Bates College (Magna Cum Laude and a Rhodes Scholarship semifinalist!) before completing his MBA at Columbia. Scott brings more than twenty years of college admissions experience to his work, most recently as Dean/AVP of Undergraduate Marketing and Recruitment at University of New England, and previously Director of Admission at Bates College. He developed UNE's test-optional and test-free policies and served on The Common Application's Enrollment Leaders Advisory Committee. Scott’s a classically trained pianist and a competitive tennis player who competed at the 2024 USTA League National Championships.
