The Highly Selective Admissions Playbook

Join us in-person for an insider look at how selective colleges make admissions decisions, and what families can do now to help students stand out in a highly competitive applicant pool.

Why Does One Qualified Student Get In and Another Get Rejected?

Your teen is working hard. They have strong grades, meaningful activities, and impressive accomplishments. But in today’s highly selective admissions landscape, many applicants look similarly qualified on paper. Especially those coming from Westchester County.

So, what does it really take for your student to stand out at the most competitive universities?

Join Patti Miller, our Head of Counseling and an alumna of Yale and The Wharton School, for an exclusive in-person event designed to help parents better understand how selective admissions decisions are really made and what students should focus on to maximize their chances at the nation’s most competitive colleges.

During this event, you will learn:

Head of Counseling & Yale Alumna

“Above and beyond” is a phrase often thrown around, but in Patti’s case, it’s a motto. As a Yale alumna, she served as an interviewer for prospective students, and while earning her MBA from The Wharton School, she helped students as an admission office application evaluator. Not stopping there, she earned certification in college counseling from UCLA, and then served as an intern college counselor to high school students in the Roslyn Union Free School District.
