WHY WE CREATED RUNWAY FOR STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS

High schools and their students have faced unprecedented disorder and disruption this year. For those counselors who support students on the path to college, the admissions landscape feels ever-shifting, sometimes bewildering—hello, test-optional! And for those students who need help planning for college, guiding them towards their future has become even more challenging.

This past spring, as COVID-19 upended the admissions landscape, Collegewise teamed up with schools and districts to help students and parents navigate their most pressing questions by offering webinars, resources, advice, and perspective.

After input from educators throughout the country, we created Runway, a series of college planning programs and resources, carefully structured to give students and counselors of all backgrounds and circumstances the tips, tools, and timelines they need to reach their goals.

WHAT EDUCATORS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT OUR RESOURCES AND EXPERTISE

An outstanding resource for Arcadia High School families, the Collegewise team frequently delivers presentations and unique perspectives on college admission topics at our school. During the unprecedented changes surrounding the pandemic, they proved to be invaluable. Collegewise hosted webinars specifically for our families on Creative College Research Sleuthing and Highly Selective Admissions, bringing us the most up-to-date information and resources. Their level of professionalism and expertise throughout the process was evident, from set-up to delivery to correspondence after the event. We are grateful for their commitment to our community and we look forward to our continued partnership!

Counselor, Arcadia High School

Collegewise is always proactive in reaching out to help the community by providing free webinars and resources on a variety of college admission topics. Their counselors know what they are doing & are experts in their field with extensive backgrounds in college admissions. Their philosophy & approach to college planning aligns with high school college advisors & counselors. Collegewise makes planning a webinar extremely easy; just email a request for a topic & they will work with you to set a date & coordinate the broadcast. All I had to do was advertise the event & it was an automatic success. Collegewise is a valuable college resource for schools, students, & parents. Thank you, Collegewise!
